It all began in Egypt, in the vibrant and fascinating city of Cairo, where the intensity of every day feels as overwhelming as it is magical…
We are Ruth, Alexandre, Amadeo and Cosima, a Belgian-Spanish family. Expatriates in Egypt for four years, we discovered in the Fayoum oasis a haven of calm, a place to reconnect with family and with the essence of a majestic country: endless deserts, donkeys strolling slowly, embracing nature, and crafts that tell stories. There, where time seems to stand still, we learned to value what truly matters.

Here, in our Spanish refuge, time also slows down, inviting us to enjoy family, friends and the surrounding nature. In every corner of this house we wanted to capture the authenticity of our Egyptian oasis, to keep living the magic of those simple moments that stay in the memory.
